Meet The Founder
Jessica Harvey

Elder Jessica Harvey was born on October 1, 1991 to the late Raymond Sr. and Shirley Jackson Harvey. Jessica loves her family, especially her children, Kingsley and bonus son Kaiden.
Ms. Harvey is a proud graduate of Eleanor McMain Secondary School and Dillard University where she majored in Music and Marketing. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree at Tulane University.

Jessica loves music and she loves to sing. She is the leader of the all female, award winning Gospel group, "Jessica Harvey and The Difference." The group was designed to encourage people to be BOLD for Christ and be the change they want to see in this world with the help of the Holy Spirit. She is also the co-founder of the New Orleans Citywide Women's Choir, further demonstrating her commitment to uplifting women through music and worship. Under her personal ministry, (Be Bold Ministries) Jessica has and plans on continuing to provide etiquette and health classes to young ladies in this city and beyond.

Outside of church, Jessica is the Vocal Music teacher for all three KIPP New Orleans High Schools, where she services John F Kennedy, Booker T Washington and Frederick Douglass High Schools. She is also the leader and director of the Greater New Orleans High School Choral Collective, which had the incredible honor of performing at Super Bowl LIX (2025), where she led and directed 125 students singing "Lift Every Voice and Sing" behind Grammy winner Ledisi. Jessica realizes that it takes a village to raise a child, and she desires to be a positive role model to every child she encounters. Jessica is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

Although Jessica is constantly moving and busy, she has a higher calling that is the main focus of her life. Jessica accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the tender age of 3, and she has been faithfully serving the Lord ever since. She accepted her calling as a minister of the gospel at the age of 19, and she has been preaching and teaching the word of God to all that have a listening ear. As a worship leader at Beacon Light International Baptist Cathedral, Jessica continues to serve her community through music and spiritual guidance. She has also started a teens Bible class at Beacon Light for ages 13-17, demonstrating her heart for mentoring young people in their faith journey. Jessica is an energetic and loving 33 year old woman of God who truly has a heart for God and his people.
